Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

I DONβT NORMALLY LEAVE REVIEWS, BUT THIS WAS ONE OF THE MOST DISAPPOINTING MEALS IβVE HAD. I PAID ABOUT $35 FOR A BRISKET PLATTER, AND THE BRISKET WAS SO DRY IT FELT LIKE EATING SANDPAPER. IT HAD NO MOISTURE AND WAS EXTREMELY TOUGH. THE CORNBREAD WAS ALSO EXTREMELY DRY, AND TO MY SURPRISE IT HAD RAISINS IN IT, WHICH WAS NEVER MENTIONED. THAT COMPLETELY THREW OFF THE FLAVOR. TO MAKE THINGS WORSE, THE SODA I WAS GIVEN WAS EXPIRED WITH A DATE OF JULY 13, 2026. ON TOP OF THAT, MY ORDER DIDNβT INCLUDE ANY NAPKINS OR UTENSILS, SO I HAD TO SCRAMBLE TO FIND SOMETHING TO EAT WITH. FOR $35, I EXPECTED A QUALITY MEAL. INSTEAD, I GOT DRY FOOD, AN EXPIRED DRINK, AND AN INCOMPLETE ORDER. I LEFT STILL HUNGRY AND FEELING LIKE I WASTED MY MONEY. IβVE HAD MUCH BETTER BBQ ELSEWHERE. I HAVE PHOTOS OF THE FOOD, THE EXPIRED SODA, AND MY ORDER TO BACK UP MY EXPERIENCE. THIS WAS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT, AND I HOPE THE RESTAURANT TAKES THIS FEEDBACK SERIOUSLY.I WOULD NOT WASTE MY MONEY HERE

So Iβve now tried this place twice β once for takeout and once dining in. The first experience was the sliced brisket. The slices were extremely thick and honestly needed more smoke time. The meat was tough and difficult to pull apart. The sides were decent though β especially the green beans and baked beans. The second visit we decided to eat in. The place was absolutely slammed. The girl working the register and taking orders was very nice, but clearly overwhelmed and understaffed. She genuinely needed help. We were told a 30 minute wait for food, but it ended up being about 50 minutes. We also ordered an appetizer and specifically asked for it to come out first. The hostess even told us she entered it that way into the computer. Unfortunately it still came out at the exact same time as the meal. She went into the kitchen several times trying to help, but nobody seemed to have any solution. This visit we ordered the ribs. They were extremely thick, barely warm, had very little bark or smoke flavor, and were unfortunately tough. Another frustrating issue was watching customers who ordered 20β30 minutes after us receive their food first. Clearly the kitchen could not handle the

It has taken far too ling for us to try Harry's BBQ but we finally made a trip. The smoke pork was exceptional. The coleslaw and corn good sides. The carolina gold wings tremendous. The ribeye cheese steak was superb. Highly recommend it all. I will be back for a tray of BBQ. Give Harry's a try! For those who are gluten-free like my wife, plenty of options.

Harryβs has been showing up on sandwich and barbecue fb pages for forever now. All the posters rave about the place. Now itβs my turn to rave. And yes, Iβll be back. There were several corned beef entrees for St. Pattyβs Day. I went with the Ruben. It was a fall apart, over stuffed, pillow sandwich. My pics donβt do it justice. After 2/3βs of it, I wasnβt even hungry anymore. Finished it cause it was sooo darn good.

The food was absolutely amazing and you can tell people love it by all the orders that were being pumped out for deliveries. I brought my wife there and the BBQ food reminded me of Texas BBQ that I had in Dallas Texas years ago.. I wish I could give it 10 stars out of 5. Employees were great and gave opinions on their favorite choices when we asked them.. great, cozy, sit down eating area that was extremely clean and smelled like they clean often.
